It's sixteen long years after the fact and people are starting to disappear all over again. Could it be the maniac returned from the grave?
Or could he have been reincarnated as the soul of one of the seven kids born? Maybe he actually survived the night he was left for dead? Well only one person knows the

Going out to dinner is an event millions of people partake in on a daily basis. Families and friends catch up on old times over burgers and fries. Luckily for horror fanatics, there are places for them to hang out with relatives and enjoy some “monster” scenery.
There are medieval restaurants with knights and maidens roaming around as you enjoy your bread and ale. There are café’s that feature jungle animals watching you devour your steak and potatoes. Why not enjoy your dinner with zombies and mad scientists? Now a day’s people are looking for ways to enhance their experiences. Just look at all the movies featured in 3-D. Dining out is fun and is one of the best ways to experience something new and different.

The Jekyll and Hyde restaurant and bar opened in 1991 on 91 7th Avenue in New York City and was created by a man named D.R. Finley, according to an article written for Hauntworld.com. Finley talked about why he chose the Jekyll and Hyde theme in the article. “I am a big fan of English history and wanted our stories to be based on the classic monsters of old Europe. It also represents everything that man is concerned with including the search for immortality and the struggle between good and evil,” he said. The bars unique name offers a hint of what actually goes on behind the doors.
The restaurants official Web site offers this on the home page: “Jekyll and Hyde is a haunted restaurant and bar for eccentric explorers and mad scientists where guests can eat and drink among the unusual and the bizarre.” There are characters such as Professor Shroud and Dreadworthy the Butler who walk around mingling with the patrons. The site also mentions the use of special effects to set the right “horrific” mood. Jekyll and Hyde also features a specific background story about a scientist who is obsessed with the two natures of man and uses experiments to further his obsession. The menu includes items such as Create-Your-Own-Monster burgers and The Mummy, a sirloin sandwich.
Another experience oriented restaurant is The Slaughtered Lamb Pub which was also created by Finley. The name is synonymous with the 1983 film “An American Werewolf in London.” The two main characters stop to rest at the pub and soon after leaving are attacked by a werewolf. According to its official Web page, The Slaughtered Lamb Pub was originally located in northern England. The pub itself creates an old fashion feel with its wooden booths and unique use of lycan memorabilia. There’s a werewolf room and even a dungeon. A skeleton perched at the top of the pub is what greets eager customers as they enter the lair.

The sign for the pub features a creepy wolf baying at a full moon. Werewolf pictures are featured on walls. There is even a wax figure of a young woman being bitten by a werewolf. All of these elements create an awesome experience for horror fans looking for a more creative and entertaining way to have a meal. It caters to those who are willing to go beyond the norm and step into a new world.

There are other restaurants located throughout the U.S. and even other countries that have dedicated themselves to pleasing horror enthusiasts. Hey, we need a place to unwind and relax too. Who knows what else is in the works? Maybe a zombie themed restaurant where “real life” zombies walk around taking customers orders and delivering brains on silver platters? Ok, maybe not brains, a cheeseburger will do just fine.

FIEND WITHOUT A FACE- TBA
I HAVE HEARD OF EYES WITHOUT A FACE...
Roy Frumkes is set on remaking the film Fiend Without a Face and over at Horror-movies.ca they posted the following statement from him: "I’ve wanted to do this film for 40 years, so I already had it all in my head, and it wasn’t hard to write. What I didn’t have was the technical information I’m no science buff.
Now I’m interviewing scientists, getting the technology straight." He also said a little about what his plans for it were: It’s set in a think tank in the Berkshires, and it’s not about young people. It’s a mature film, but it has a STREET TRASH sensibility, so the people who like my work will not be disappointed.”
The original movie is about how a airbase in Canada instigate and provoke the people after a fallout from the nuclear experiments at the base are blamed for a recent spate of disappearances.

MALEFICENT- TBA
MORE ON THE EVIL QUEEN...
Tim Burton hopes to do a film pretty soon on Sleeping Beauty's arch nemesis the evil queen Maleficent
and it just might be an action thriller. It is said that Alice screenwriter Linda Woolverton is teaming with Disney to bring Maleficent a live-action take on the evil queen who was famous in the 1959 Disney animated classic tale.

That's all that is really being said about the film but we can all rest assured that the film will come out unique but with that crazy Tim Burton style. I wonder if he'll throw Johnny Depp, his favorite actor in there? Maybe the prince...

Tom Spina Designs puts the CAVE back in Man Cave with the Horror Home Theater"
Tom Spina Designs the custom sculpture, display and theming company that created the now famous “Han in Carbonite “ home office desk have taken their furniture art to the next level by designing two amazing rooms full of incredible and unusual décor to create a movie prop collector's dream home theater and the ultimate (and literal) Man Cave.

The artists took the client's initial concept of "a cave room" and expanded it with a backstory of rooms constructed inside a cave years ago by a great adventurer, and creating two distinct spaces:
- a gritty and imposing Movie Prop Display Room complete with gray rock formations and stalactites peaking out between the faux girders and rusted metal walls from a bygone era.
- and a warm and inviting Home Cinema / Media Room with beautiful brown rock formations loaded with layers of detail and texture.
The final rooms took approximately a week to install, but completely custom built sculpted furniture pieces and rock elements were fabricated ahead of time over the course of many months. A 26 foot long moving truck was needed to transport all of the sculpted rock and other finished elements to the home.

The rooms were designed by Tom Spina, with additional sculpting and specialty fabrication by Richard Riley. The artists' vision took the rooms from completely empty and unpainted spaces into what they are now.
This project is being featured on a dedicated page on the Tom Spina Designs company website, where you can browse through galleries with dozens of photos including the building progress , final rooms and behind-the-scenes candid pictures. The following link will take you to the full detailed project diary:
http://www.tomspinadesigns.com/Man-Cave-Horror-Home-Theater-Movie-Props-Theme-Rooms.html

The theme rooms were commissioned by Wesley Cannon (owner of www.Wickedprops.com and co-founder of www.Hollywoodhistoryonline.com Wesely has been a client of Tom Spina Designs for years, utilizing their services for many of the custom movie wardrobe display mannequins featured in his extensive collection.

Wesley's entire family contributed to setting up the room and all were amazed by the final result. Wesley notes, “I've had this dream of a cave room for years. Tom Spina Designs managed to take my idea far beyond what I'd envisioned. It was an honor to have Tom and Rich help make this dream come true. It was a wonderful experience to work with the artists during the design phase and to watch things come together as they were built. They are top-notch guys and if anyone needs any displays, restoration or theming, Tom Spina Designs is the place to go”

A Night of Horror International Film Festival (4th Annual) is Just Weeks Away
Sydney, Australia, March 22, 2010 – Australia's leading horror film event, A Night of Horror International Film Festival, is just a few weeks away. The festival will terrify audiences from April 15-23 at Dendy, Newtown Cinema and other Sydney venues.
A Night of Horror began in 2006 as an idea for a one night only showcase of locally produced short horror films (hence the festival's name). However, the festival attained so much local and international interest, that it has since expanded to a nine day event that screens 16 of the world's most terrifying, new feature films and over 50 shorts.
Festival director Dr. Dean Bertram is ecstatic with this year's line-up of films: “We always pride ourselves in delivering the best and bloodiest in horror cinema to our audiences, but the 2010 program is easily the festival's strongest and most terrifying yet.”
“The growth of the festival is really indicative of the popularity of the horror genre in this country”, adds festival co-director Lisa Mitchell. “I'm particularly delighted that we are presenting the Sydney premiere of three harrowing Australian feature films at the festival: THE HORSEMAN, DAMNED BY DAWN, and THE DARK LURKING all of which will be followed by Q&As with the filmmakers.”
Jam packed with premieres, filmmaker Q&As, and special events, some other highlights of the 2010 festival include:
The Australian/UK co-production of TRIANGLE. Starring Melissa George, the film is a terror-inducing thrill ride, with an ingeniously twisting plot that leaves the audience as off balanced as the characters on screen.
The unique and multi-award winning, THE REVENANT: a must-see, action packed, and darkly comedic, vampire-zombie-buddy movie from US director D. Kerry Prior.
The beautifully shot, but deeply disturbing, Italian/US co-production, HOUSE OF FLESH MANNEQUINS. A nod to the great Italian horror films of the 70s and 80s, it is to be introduced at the festival by the film's star and producer Domiziano Arcangeli.
The hotly anticipated and white-knuckle inducing THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT: The run-away, American box-office success, and feature debut of Sydney director Peter Cornwell.
A special edge-of-your-seat double bill, featuring the modern horror classic THE DESCENT and the NSW premiere of THE DESCENT: PART 2.
