After a man encounters a ghost at 3 A.M., he begins to see the number 3 everywhere -- a sign that he must either save someone's life or play the lottery. Brand Upon the Brain!: Criterion Collection In this quirky 2006 movie shot in the style of a 1920s silent film, a brother and sister delve into repressed memories to uncover the secret behind their matching head wounds. Drive-In Cult Classics Vol. 2 This box set gathers eight cheesy flicks, mostly from the 1960s, including: They Saved Hitler’s Brain, Terrified, Bloodlust!, The Creeping Terror, Land of the Minotaur, The Hearse, The Devil’s Hand and The Madmen of Mandoras. The Killing Gene Released internationally as Waz, this UK production stars Stellan Skarsgard and Melissa George as police detectives investigating a series of murders in which victims' bodies are carved with a mathematical equation. E equals M.C. Dead! Resurrection Mary In this film based on the Chicago urban legend about a ghostly female hitchhiker, a man has "fatal attraction" to a vengeful ghost who targets his fiancée. Survival College kids + camping + sadistic backwoods maniacs = yawn. Tru Calling: The Complete Series Who knew that Tru Calling lasted more than one season? Apparently, it had two. Now you can get both seasons in one handy set, detailing the story of a woman (Eliza Dushku) who "sees dead people" and tries to do something about their deaths. Think of it as The Sixth Sense with boobs. Weird Cinema A collection of 10 "weird" (AKA bad on a legendary scale) movies from the 1930s through the 1960s, including: Teeneagers from Outer Space, Assassin of Youth, The Giant Gila Monster, Creature from Haunted Sea, She Beast, Bride of the Gorilla, The Terror of Tiny Town, Eehah!, Reefer Madness, and The Cocaine Fiends. Wide Awake A darker (and no doubt better acted) exploration of "anesthesia awareness" than the Jessica Alba/Hayden Christensen vehicle Awake, this Korean thriller, also known as Return, features a man who seeks revenge on the doctors who operated on him as a child with improper anesthesia.
