Buffalo Nickel Productions is currently in production with their zombie movie "Decayed". Director/writer Emil Novak has weaved a tale of the last days of mankind after a virus breaks out and starts turning people into zombies. One of the focuses of the movie is the evil that man does to man when civilization crumbles.
The movie follows multiple characters as they discover and react to the outbreak. Some look to escape the city, some look to inform, some just want to have some fun and some also consider rebuilding. The zombies are inflected people who first go into a rage and attack quickly but as their bodies decay they slow down and until they fall apart.
Reports from the set say that filming is going very smoothly and segments involving the two couples trying to escape from the city by boat has wrapped and the "Pirate TV" segment is also wrapped. The director says that all the actors were able to create his vision and take it to the next level. While the first two segments do not have a lot of zombie attack in them, Emil promises that we will see a lot of creatures in action.
The Decayed website should be up very soon. Just tweaks to the teaser trailer is all that remains, then the website will be announced and promoted!
The next segment which involves the doctors race against time to find a cure for the virus before everyone is one of the Inflected will start filming in March. And for now be very careful about what you choose to eat or drink, or you may find yourself one of the Inflected.
